How we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Introduction
Virtual CFO Services Australia ("we", "us", "our") is a division of Trinity Accounting Practice Pty Ltd. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide accounting, advisory and virtual CFO services, including: name, contact details, business information, financial records, and TFN/ABN information where required.
3. How we use your information
To deliver our engaged services, meet legal obligations (including to the ATO, ACNC and Tax Practitioners Board), and to communicate with you about our services.
4. Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to regulators and third-party service providers (e.g. Xero, secure cloud hosting) under strict confidentiality arrangements.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure located in Australia where possible. Access is restricted to authorised personnel.
6. Access and correction
You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information by emailing privacy@vcfoaus.au.
7. Complaints
If you believe we have breached an APP, please email us. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated. Current version effective: January 2026.
